PROFILE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
We are currently seeking to hire a Pricing Analyst to join Pen��s established Underwriting Insight & Pricing team. The primary purpose to work with the Senior Pricing Analyst to help the technical pricing element of our Financial Lines and Specialty business placed in the London Market.

The key areas of the role are:
�� Deliver and maintain pricing, reserving and analytical solutions for all underwriting lines
�� Recommend initiatives to enhance underwriting profitability
�� Measure impact of underwriting actions, rate change, renewal retention, new and lost business
�� Support the collection and maintenance of pricing/reserving data
�� Help present and promote our pricing/reserving approach to insurance capacity peer group actuaries

Qualifications
�� Minimum 2:1 degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics or related field �� Progress towards FIA qualification, but not essential.

Technical Knowledge / Skills
�� Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to apply judgement
�� Programming skills (SQL, Python) would be a nice to have
�� Ability to manage large data sets
�� Able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
�� Outstanding teammate who enjoys working in an open and collaborative structure
�� Ability to plan and organise work to meet targets and deadlines
�� Ability to use negotiation and persuasion in order to achieve solutions to complex situations, both internally and externally.
